Challenge: The Jardim de Verão Gulbenkian is an open-air summer festival held in the gardens of the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation in Lisbon, bringing together concerts, conversations and DJ sets in a unique natural setting. The 2023 edition needed a visual identity that could capture the spirit of the event and translate into all festival communications and on-site signage.

Solution: The concept merges the two defining elements of the experience: the landscape of the Gulbenkian gardens and the physicality of sound. Garden textures, treated with blur and grain, were combined with organic forms representing sound waves to create a fluid, graphic visual language. A vibrant colour palette brings energy to the composition, giving the identity a presence that works equally well across posters, digital formats and festival signage.
